Plot Synopsis
Rising Seattle interior designer Lily Summers is a small-own girl at heart. Working for a corporate condo company, she is on the verge of her dream promotion to be Senior Interior Designer by her 30th birthday. When her boyfriend Bradford, who manages the company, takes Lily to dinner offering her "the proposal of her dreams," she thinks it's the promotion she's wanted until he gets down on one knee. Interrupting the moment, Lily gets a call from back home about her Aunt Maggie having a bad fall. Lily jumps on the first flight home and promises Bradford a "redo" when she gets back to the city. When she arrives she is greeted by Marcus the ruggedly handsome seaplane pilot. She heads to her aunt's picturesque Harbor Island Inn. There, Lily discovers the inn is more worn around the edges than she remembered. Aunt Maggie confides in Lily that she needs to sell the inn now that she's getting older. Lily runs into Marcus again and he reveals that he lives in the garden suite. Lily decides to stay for as long as needed to help sell the inn. Together, Lily, Aunt Maggie, Christie, her best friend, and Marcus fix up the inn and get it into better shape than it's been in years. It's obvious there's a chemistry between Lily and Marcus but to her friends, Lily insists it's nothing. Lily shares with Marcus that her Aunt Maggie raised her after losing her parents as a young girl. The memories were just too painful and are the reason for her wanting to leave, but admits she's been flooded with good memories since her return. Will Lily sell the home and head back to the city? Or will she finally discover that home really is where the heart is.
