Plot Synopsis
A successful but restless Los Angeles lawyer gives up her practice to become a private eye. Her new office happens to be inhabited by a mischievous ghost, a detective from the 1940's who wants her to find out who killed him forty years ago--a case that still remains unsolved. Together the gallant gumshoe and the naive neophyte crack the mystery.
