Plot Synopsis
Based on the book "Her-2: The Making of Herceptin, a Revolutionary Treatment for Breast Cancer" by Robert Bazell. UCLA researcher Dr. Dennis Slamon races against time to develop a life saving breast cancer drug. He begins drug trials with the promising drug, Herceptin, but he soon finds his work threatened when the drug company stops funding his research. Refusing to give up and with the help of generous philanthropists he continue his ground breaking work on the drug, which eventually leads to a life saving treatment for the deadly disease.
