Plot Synopsis

A seemingly upstanding, caring husband and father is accused of foul play by his ex-wife when his new wife dies after a sudden, suspicious illness. She accuses him of poisoning her when she realizes she herself suffered similar symptoms years previously. Although rebuffed by the authorities as mentally unstable she is determined to reveal his sinister behavior. She eventually see him convicted of murder but dies soon after from years of ingesting small doses of a lethal poison.
