Plot Synopsis

An entomologist vacationing in the Alaskan wilderness uncovers signs of volcanic activity. His surprise quickly turns to terror when he discovers carcasses--animal and human--that have been killed and meticulously picked clean. Determining that the unsuspecting town has become a feeding ground for voracious killer ants, he enlist the Sheriff and a local school teacher in a life-or-death battle against the advancing deadly insects.
