Plot Synopsis
Based on the play by Neil Simon. A bittersweet memoir of Simon's formative years in New York as a television comedy writer on ''Your Show of Shows'' starring Sid Caesar. A fictional group of eclectic, volatile writers toil for their self-destructive boss, TV's number one comedian, Max Prince. Amid personal problems and career ambitions the staff works hard to please their unbalanced leader.
