Plot Synopsis

A fat bartender in a NYC comedy club is afraid of performing her own material, believing only thin, cute girls become successful. She gets another wanna-be comic who, has the looks but no ability, to perform her best one-liners. A talent scout for a major comedy festival is captivated by the seemingly witty new comic. While keeping the charade going for her no-talent friend she falls in love with the scout and eventually finds the courage to see herself as truly beautiful.
