Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel in Ellen Byerrum's franchise, the Crime of Fashion Mysteries. A fashion columnist for a Washington, D.C. newspaper ends up reporting on more than just style when a series of murders takes place at her girlfriend's hair salon. As she follows the killer's trail, she must stay out of the way of her newspaper's ego-driven crime reporter who wants the story for himself and her ex-boyfriend, who is the lead detective on the case. With the help of her friends she works to solve the mystery, while scrambling to meet her "Crime of Fashion" column deadline.
