Plot Synopsis

An aspiring teen Golden Gloves boxer coached by his father, a former champ, is afraid to disappoint his dad when he discover his true passion lies in competition double Dutch jump rope. Although terrified of being ridiculed by his peers he comes to the aid of his neighbor Mary, the leader of a four-girl double Dutch team, when one of her jumpers defects to a rival crew. As the new substitute he secretly practices with the team to get ready for the citywide championship. When word gets out about his new sport he must choose between following his heart and letting what others think determine his destiny.
