Plot Synopsis
The fourth installment of the "Aurora Teagarden Mystery" TV Movie franchise based on the books by Charlaine Harris. Aurora Teagarden is a beautiful young librarian with a passion for solving murders. A member of The Real Murders Club, a group of crime buffs bent on examining notorious unsolved homicides, Aurora has a reputation as an expert crime sleuth in her charming small town. After an exhaustive search for the perfect home, Aurora finally purchases her dream house, unaware of its murky history. As she prepares to move in, she discovers that the family who once lived there mysteriously disappeared without a trace. Though she's falling in love with Martin Bartell, a charismatic CIA-agent-turned-businessman, her placid life quickly turns complicated when she uncovers clues suggesting foul play was involved in the family's disappearance and cannot resist the urge to open her own investigation. Much to the chagrin of the local police, who years earlier ruled the family's disappearance a "death by accident" and closed the case, Aurora enlists the help of Martin and The Real Murders Club and begins questioning witnesses. Eventually she discovers the Julius family's gruesome remains and soon finds herself trapped in harm's way. With mystery in the air and a romance heating up, she struggles to crack the case and return to her new home without becoming a murder victim. *Author Charlaine Harris of the "Aurora Teagarden" series of books makes a guest appearance in the movie.
