Plot Synopsis

Based on the play by Laura Cahill. In 1980's Bayonne, New Jersey,two desperate blue-collar women spend their nights trolling bars looking for true love. Further depressing one of the women is that her mother, who works as a waitress in a diner, is smitten with a soft-spoken widower who seems genuinely interested. But as their prospective relationships fail the three women eventually find meaning in their lives even though their simple dreams don't come true.
