Plot Synopsis

Loretta Johnson moves away from her small hometown to pursue her dream of event planning, leaving her boyfriend Wayne Hendricks behind. Two years later, as an assistant to Los Angeles event planner Amy Bennett, Loretta's work catches the attention of engaged couple Paul Perentti and Michelle Wellerson. The two mistake her for Amy, and when Amy hires someone else instead of promoting Loretta, Loretta decides to keep up the charade to win their business. Paul and Michelle hire Loretta to help Paul impress Michelle's outdoorsy father Arthur and get Arthur's blessing for Paul to marry Michelle. With the help of Wayne and her mother, Loretta balances keeping up the act, helping her client and managing lingering feelings for Wayne. Before the weekend is over, Loretta must decide if she will confess who she really is to Paul and Arthur, and confess where her heart really lies to herself.
