Plot Synopsis

Carly Ashby is an attractive, 40-something single mom who owns a flower shop and writes "Parenting From the Soul," a popular parenting blog based on her experiences raising her 18-year old, college-bound daughter, Sadie. Disappointed by Sadie's growing up too fast, she urges her to stay at home and attend community college. When she turns to her blog for advice, she finds herself on the attack by a reader who has conflicting opinions. While she deals with him online, offline she meets Andy, a handsome, 45- year old single father and soon sparks start to fly. What she doesn't know is that the confrontational reader and the adorable single dad are, in fact, the same person. As Carly and Andy enjoy each others company in person, their heated online feud continues, attracting a large following. But when she discovers that he is actually the opinionated blogger with radically different ideas about parenting their fledgling relationship seems headed for the rocks.
Star Lisa Whelchel's real life daughter, Clancy Cauble, plays her daughter Sadie in the movie.
