Plot Synopsis

Sweet but lonely 12-year-old Chrystal is tired of being teased by the mean girls at her new school and longs for a best friend. She finds comfort hanging out with the animals at Whiskers, the local mall pet shop. A mall Santa gives her a special coin and tells her to make a wish. She soon discovers that, some how, she can now magically hear Grumpy Cat, a sour, snarky feline who has been living at the pet shop because she's constantly returned by customers. As the two develop a close friendship during the holiday rush, Grumpy, with the urging of Chrystal, reluctantly thwarts the kidnapping of an expensive, exotic dog by two dumb and dumber thieves, and on Christmas Eve rescues Chrystal from a nefarious mall cop. Through her adventures, Grumpy reluctantly learns the true meaning of Christmas and Chrystal gets the best present ever. Deck the halls with boughs of furballs...Meow.
