Plot Synopsis

Jessica, a woman in her thirties and recently widowed, decides to start over and move back to her family home with her son. Her parents have decided to retire and the sell their house and she hopes to buy the old place as a Christmas surprise. Her plans go awry when she discovers that her folks have already sold it to a very handsome thirty-something man named Michael who turns out to be an old childhood crush. While Jessica and Michael vie for ownership of the house, sparks begin to fly. Jessica thinks she's not ready for a man in her life, even if it is the very same person she once loved when they were kids. But with the help of her family, some luck and a very special dog, Jessica realizes the blessings in a plan gone wrong.
