Plot Synopsis

Fifteen-year-old Skylar, a fearless teenager with a powerful singing voice, is getting ready for the ultimate Halloween bash with her best friends, Henry and Sadie. However, the plan for her to sing at the party with rock-band hunk, Ryan Dean, is crushed when her parents make her stay home. When she attempts to sneak out of the house, she accidentally unleashes the immortal monster Deimata, who is determined to change the fate of Skylar and her family forever. As her world is turned upside down, Skylar learns that her parents have been keeping a big secret -- that she is a fifth-generation monster hunter. Soon, school mean girl Myra gets possessed by Deimata and is sent to destroy Skylar, her parents, and her friends once and for all. Now, it's up to Skylar and her besties to channel their inner strength and save themselves -- and their loved ones -- from the evil demons. Actress Olivia Holt performs two of the movie's pop rock songs, "Had Me @Hello" and "Fearless."
