Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Ben Carson and Cecil Murphey. The story of world-renowned pediatric neurosurgeon, Ben Carson, who overcomes problems in school, an impoverished childhood and racial prejudice to achieve his dream of becoming a doctor. With the undying support of his loving mother, Sonya, he eventually fulfills his dreams and becomes director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children's Center.
