Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel ''Set For Life'' by Judith Freeman. A frail, crusty old man is given a new lease on life when he receives a heart transplant from his teenage grandson who was killed in an auto accident. Though the operations is a success he soon becomes suicidal. When an abused teenage runaway breaks into his house, he finds himself captivated by her presence. By helping her to confront her pain, he eventually is able to face his own failures and reconcile with his own estranged daughter.
