Plot Synopsis
Based on the short story ''The Silent Stars Go By'' by Bess Streeter Aldrich. During the Christmas season a middle class suburban woman struggles to come to terms with the recent death of her mother, financial ruin and the possible break-up of her marriage. During a dream she returns to her New England home and is given hope and courage by her dead parents and her beloved aunt.
