Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel's by Suzi Weinert and the fourteenth installment in the "Garage Sale Mystery" TV movie franchise. Garage sale shopper extraordinaire Jennifer and her resale business partner Dani have agreed to take on consignment the vintage camera collection of local businessman Larry Brady, who recently dropped dead of a heart attack at his 60th birthday party. After developing film that remained in one of the cameras, Jenn discovers that one of the photos seems to have captured Brady at the moment of his collapse, alone in his study. When closer inspection reveals what could well be a syringe and a pair of gloved hands, Jenn becomes convinced that the man was murdered, and her curiosity about murders being what it is, she reports her discovery to Detective Lynwood, then promptly proceeds to embark on her own unofficial investigation. She soon meets all the members of Brady's extended family, who become her entire roster of suspects. Each one seems to have a reasonable motive for wanting him dead, from jealousies over his success, to money owed. One by one, more clues are revealed but, as murder investigations often do, this one leads her down a number of dead ends before she zeroes in on the final few pieces of the puzzle. She becomes certain she knows who the killer is. In fact, the killer confirms her conclusion by meeting her in a dark room at gunpoint. Jenn must quickly figure out how to overtake the killer before becoming the next victim.
