Plot Synopsis
When their 4 year old son is diagnosed with epilepsy, a Missouri farm family is almost destroyed by the mounting medical bills and the lack of improvement from the massive drug therapy his doctors prescribe. Desperate and frustrated, the boy's mother begins pursuing an unorthodox treatment program that involves a Baltimore doctor's experimental ketogenic diet. Over time the child steadily improves.
