Plot Synopsis

Dwayne Johnson (DJ), a counselor at a youth correctional facility, dedicates his professional life to helping a group of trouble young women. The incarcerated girls and young women come from broken and often violent backgrounds. Many of them belong to gangs and have been involved with illegal drugs -- both as users and dealers. DJ encourages the women to join an elite team that fights forest fires and assists civilian victims of natural disasters. After several weeks of rigorous training and volunteer service, the women soon change the way they see themselves and slowly begin to regain their self-respect. As they fight to save lives, they end up saving their own.
