Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by Robert Harris. It is 1964 and Germany, who was victorious in World War II, is seeking a thaw in relations with the U.S. and preparing to celebrate the 75th birthday of Adolf Hitler. A SS detective probes the murder of a Nazi bigshot and is joined by an American reporter. Together they learn of the Final Solution which had been suppressed all these years but the Gestapo is determined to silence the pair before they can ruin the U.S.-Germany summit.
