Plot Synopsis
After his teenage son is critically injured in an auto accident, taciturn Montana rancher and his family struggle to hold on to their long held land. The boy, now a paraplegic, is intent on participating in an upcoming steer roping competition, hoping to make his dad proud and ease their troubled relationship. Their long time ranch hand helps the boy find his courage and helps both father and son build new emotional bonds.
