Plot Synopsis

It's Christmastime in Los Angeles, and News Today Network's flagship "Morning Show with Kate Harper" is in full holiday swing. Unaware that her mic is still on after the show wraps, Kate tells a guest that she simply doesn't like Christmas. In an attempt to repair her reputation and win back angry viewers, the network sends her and the show's producer, Jack Brewster, to Hollyvale, North Dakota, "The Biggest Little Christmas Town in the Country," to cover the town's legendary Christmas celebration, giving Kate an opportunity to fall in love with Christmas again -- and once again be the darling of morning television. In Hollyvale, Kate does begin to rediscover the Christmas joy she lost years ago. What's more, both she and Jack are once again feeling the attraction they experienced back when they were dating in college, before their careers took them in different directions. As the countdown to Christmas Eve progresses, the town's Christmas tree mysteriously goes missing so Kate and Jack set out to find it and bring the joy of Christmas back to Hollyvale. Lori Loughlin's daughter, Isabella Giannulli, makes her acting debut, playing Mia in the movie.
