Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Monte Cook and Robert J. Schwalb. Two noblemen, a father and his son Grayson, are are attacked by evil Barbarians while participating in a Knighting ceremony. They capture the elder Knight to be the final ingredient in creating "The Book of Vile Darkness," which is a book of evil constructed of men's bones, skin and blood. The only way that Grayson can rescue his father is by going undercover, acting as a violent and cold-hearted ravager. The untrusting band of conquerors that he is now traveling with must not know his true righteousness or he will likely be killed himself. In search of his father, he and his new companions are forced to slay dragons, steal, murder and outwit a deadly skeleton creature. They eventually find his father, but Grayson is captured in the process. One of the ravagers that he has been traveling with, a powerful witch, has fallen in love with him, and against her nature protects both he and his father from a vicious death.
