Plot Synopsis
In the late 1860s, a woman doctor from Boston travels to the wilds of Colorado Springs to set up a practice. After a patient dies she takes on the responsibilities of raising the woman's three orphaned children while trying to overcome sexism and the hardships of frontier life.
