Plot Synopsis

A single young women who recovers from leukemia, then becomes pregnant, is determined to crew on a yacht traveling up the southeast coast before marrying her boyfriend and settling down. After setting sail, she soon find herself and her two male shipmates in the path of Hurricane Bob which destroys their boat and leaves them clinging to a small life raft for twelve grueling days. They are eventually rescued by the Coast Guard.
