Plot Synopsis
Based on the novella by John William Corrington. A retired Georgia judge overcomes his depression when he investigates the case of a black tenant farmer and old friend, who rejects a belated WWII medal of honor. Ruby Dee won the 1991 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Mini-Series or Special.
