Plot Synopsis

Mary Ann Thompson, a nurse at a Las Vegas Clinic who is dependent on alcohol and drugs falls in love and marries a recovering heroin addict. The couple spiral down into an abyss of chemical dependency with brief attempts at sobriety. When she gives birth to a drug addicted baby she realizes she must leave her husband in order to save herself and child. With his wife gone he too finds the strength to clean up his act.
