Plot Synopsis

A successful New York magazine editor who is about to marry a wealthy businessman is forced to face her past when her estranged father dies. When she learns that his last request was for her to spread his ashes in her tiny Massachusetts hometown she reluctantly leaves her job and wedding plans to handle the annoyance, bringing along her tireless assistant, Connor, for support. Once there, she starts to question everything she had come to believe was important and meaningful in her life. She soon comes to realize that it is Connor who she is secretly in love with and eventually has the courage to change her life. She breaks off her engagement and she and Connor finally profess their love for each other.
