Plot Synopsis
The pushy mother of a California beauty contestant finds her daughter a Miss-Runner-Up one too many times to suit her ambitions. Her competition is a pretty young woman who always wins the crown and is also hot for the same wealthy hunk her daughter is after. When the beauty queen is found dead it looks like mom is the likely suspect. The cops eventually arrest the daughter for knocking off her rival.
