Plot Synopsis

Based on the book "Date With Death" by Michele R. McPhee. Boston University medical student and National Honor Society member, Philip Markoff, is destined for greatness and happiness with his fiancee Megan McAllister. He could do no wrong in the eyes of his friends, fellow students and professors. Little did anyone know his dark side, hidden from those close to him, was the violent wrath only he and his victims knew -- beginning with his alleged April 14, 2009, first-degree murder of Julissa Brisman, a masseuse who advertised her services on the website, Craigslist. When police discover the brutal killing and a number of other attacks on women were all connected to advertisements placed on Craigslist, their investigation ultimately leads them to Markoff. In August 2010 Markoff died of an apparent suicide in Boston's Nashua Street Jail, where he was being held in custody awaiting trial for first-degree murder, armed robbery, and other charges.
