Plot Synopsis
Based on the novel by Zena Collier. A divorced woman, estranged from her family and lacking professional skills, becomes a housekeeper for a family who summers in Maine. As her employer's marriage falls apart she becomes the shattered wife's emotional caretaker. Still reeling from her own divorce she must find the strength to both help her new friend and carry on with her own life.
