Plot Synopsis

In New York City, Jack Kesman is an executive in a financial brokerage firm trying to impress the firm's president, Drew Clayton, in hopes of a promotion. He is also dating Drew's fabulously rich and elegant daughter, Demi. Although not really accepted by his girlfriend's snooty parents, he plans on asking her hand in marriage at her father's annual Christmas dance. Too bad he can't dance! Trying to create the perfect proposal, he signs up for dance lessons. But he is soon caught in a moral dilemma when his company plans to tear the dance studio down, and his feelings for his instructor move beyond the dance floor. While learning to waltz, he discovers true happiness in dance instead of climbing the corporate ladder.
