Plot Synopsis
Based on the book "A Return To Glory" by Bill McWilliams. In 1951, during the depths of the Cold War, the college football team for the United States Military Academy at West Point symbolized honor, duty and commitment to leadership. It shocked the nation when eighty-three cadets, most of whom played for legendary coach Red Blaik's football team (including the coach's son), were expelled from the Academy for participating in an elaborate cheating scandal. The violation of the storied "Cadet Honor Code" -- "A cadet will not lie, cheat or steal" -- highlights the explosive conflicts that are created when the choice between obligations to your country directly collides with integrity and loyalty to teammates, friends and family.
