Plot Synopsis

When a frozen meteor enters the Earth's atmosphere and splits in two above the small, unsuspecting town of Lennox, the smaller fragment slams deep into the mountains, far away from civilization. The second, larger piece smashes directly into the center of town, destroying the yearly holiday festival and killing many people in its wake. In the middle of the chaos are Tim and Marley, two forbidden lovers from the opposite side of the tracks. Marley's father, Ben Crooge, owns half the town and has his eye squarely on the other half, while Tim's father, Charlie Ratchet, begrudgingly works for Ben at the local ski resort. Charlie is at complete odds with Ben -- not only over his plans to own everything, but how he thinks he and his family are above everyone. Their bickering is soon interrupted when a crystal shard sends out a sub-zero blast wave and everything nearby is frozen solid. The town is quickly plunging into an ice age and the community is going to have to put all their differences aside if they want to live. When the bizarre and frozen disasters ramp up and spread, Charlie knows that time is ticking and realizes that no one will survive unless they stop it. They must now race against time to figure out a way to put nature back in balance and end this frozen disaster.
