Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by Nora Roberts. A clairvoyant young woman returns to her hometown in South Carolina where she suffered a violent childhood and the death of her best friend, Hope Lavelle. Her unique connection to the girl's death makes her not only the focus of the Lavelle family's hatred, but also the latest suspect in the still unsolved murder. She starts rebuilding old friendships, establishes her own business and falls in love with Hope's older brother. As she begins to confront the memories and horrific images of her past she soon becomes a key to solving a series of murders that began with the death of her young friend.
