Plot Synopsis
From the 1960 Broadway musical. Remake of the 1963 film. The manger and songwriter for a teen idol, sees his fortune go down the tubes when his star is inducted into the Army. He hatches a plan- that the singing sensation will travel to Sweet Apple, Ohio and croon a tune that he wrote as he kisses an adoring fan. Hoping the song will be a hit, he will then have the money to marry his long suffering girlfriend, and return to college to be an English teacher.
