Plot Synopsis
Based on the book ''Miracles Happen: One Mother, One Daughter, One Journey'' by Brooke and Jean Ellison. At the age of 11, Brooke Ellison was tragically hit by a car and left a paraplegic and unable to breathe on her own. Her mother, Jean, became her constant caregiver as Brooke fought to live as normal life as possible. With the help of her mother who attended classes by her side, Brooke overcame nearly insurmountable odds to go on and graduate with honors from Harvard University.
