Plot Synopsis

Shortly before Christmas, single mother and healthcare worker Willa Fairchild gets the unexpected news that she is a beneficiary in a recent patient's will. Moved by the sacrifices Willa made to save her son Scout from a life-threatening illness, Greg Conrad wanted to give his nurse the same chance for a fresh start that her son now has. In addition to a cash bequest equal to the family'd medical bills, Greg arranged for Willa and Scout to experience the magic of Christmas at the Victorian-era Bramble House in Bramble, Oregon. To Scout's delight, Finn Knightly, the illustrator of his favorite book series soon joins them at Bramble House. However, Finn's visit isn't the happy accident it seems to be: he is Greg Conrad's estranged son and he has come to Bramble specifically to confront the nurse he suspects of manipulating his father for financial gain. Concealing his identity, Finn joins Willa and Scout as they take part in the town's traditional yule time festivities. But as Finn realizes he's falling for Willa, he's faced with the terrible quandary of how to confess his deception without losing her trust.
