Plot Synopsis

A suburban Connecticut wife and mother learns that an old high school sweetheart is a convicted cop killer on death row in South Carolina and scheduled for imminent electrocution. Although she hasn't seen or heard from him since he returned from Vietnam, the news rekindles unresolved feelings. She visits him and finds that his war time experience has left him with Post Traumatic Shock Syndrome. Steeled by her conviction of the good buried within him, she makes a pesonal vow to fight for his clemency, much to the dismay of her husband.
