Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by Nora Roberts. A Boston chef, looking to make a fresh start after surviving a violent shootout out at her restaurant, aimlessly hits the open road. When her car breaks down in a picturesque Wyoming town, she lands a job in a local diner to earn enough cash to move on. She soon realizes this could be the place to call home--that is, until she witnesses a murder. But with no evidence a crime ever occurred her credibility is questioned. To make matters worse, strange and menacing things start happening. Either somoeone is out to get her or she is so traumatized by past events that she is just losing her mind.
