Plot Synopsis
Based on the book by Norman Cousins. Norman Cousins, the well respected editor of the ''Saturday Review'' refuses to accept the dire diagnosis of his doctors when he is felled by a crippling spinal cord disease. Instead he turns to alternative cures such as vitamin C and mega doses of laughter. His unorthodox approach to illness ignites controversy when he becomes symptom free.
