Plot Synopsis

Based on the novel by E.R. Frank. A severely troubled seventeen-year old boy, abandoned by his mother and bounced around the foster care system, lands at a residential treatment facility for foster kids who are on the cusp of "aging out" of the system. A nurturing therapist slowly helps him open up about his painful past and provides him with the support and courage to reclaim his life and to survive against all odds.
