Plot Synopsis

The demented head of a covert defense agency fakes a satellite image of an alien army poised to strike the earth. As terror of an alien attack spreads the President orders the launching of a satellite retrofitted with a nuclear warhead. A police detective discovers the images are phony and then must combat the agency's lethal head of security who wants him dead. But soon, it's revealed the force is real and will strike if the warhead is used, forcing the cop to race to abort the bomb that will trigger the alien's attack.
