Plot Synopsis

Yvonne Caldwell, a lonely, streetwise homeless woman struggles to survive with only her two beloved dogs on the mean streets of Los Angeles. A chance encounter with LAPD officer Tami Baumann, an animal loving cop with emotional issues of her own, leads to an unlikely friendship. After some reluctance, Yvonne agrees to let the officer help her get off the streets and back to the life she once led before circumstances forced her to lose her home, her job and her family. The two women eventually are able to affect the other's life for the better, resulting in a life changing emotional journey for both.
