Plot Synopsis

A wife, mother and career woman faces mental and physical abuse from her ex-cop, unemployed husband, until finally leaving him. Refusing to accept her defiant behavior, he begins to terrorize her. Although reporting his actions, she is unable to get protection from state and local authorities. For two years he stalks her, breaks into her home and after a violent confrontation, kidnaps her at gun point. Using her intellect and insight, she is eventually able to free herself from his psychotic hold.
