Plot Synopsis

The wizard Merlin is brought into being by the pagan goddess Queen Mab to help the people resist Christianity and preserve their heathen ways. The boy grows up with a talent for wizardry but uses his magic for goodness. In time Merlin and the evil Queen become mortal enemies, especially after she tries to kill Merlin's love, Nimue and Merlin aids the Christian king Uther in order to ensure Arthur's birth. Dragons, fairies, sword fights and sorcery help tell the Arthurian saga.
