Plot Synopsis
The life of legendary author Hans Christain Andersen (1805-75) who wrote 168 classic fairy tales including ''The Princess and the Pea'', ''The Emperor's New Clothes'', ''The Little Mermaid'' and the ''Ugly Duckling''. He transcended, from the poor, ravaged childhood home in Odense, Denmark to his position as a European celebrity, courted by kings,queen and other royalty of his day.
